The people behind the precision.
CLINICAL TEAM
Meet the practitioners.
Rachael Kent
B.ExSci, M.ExPhys, ESSAM, AEP
DIRECTOR · SENIOR ACCREDITED EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST
Pip specialises in shoulders, necks, and the upper body. From overhead athletes to professionals carrying the physical cost of long hours at a desk; these are her people. Many have tried treatment elsewhere, most haven't found lasting results.
What she looks for goes deeper than symptoms: how the body distributes load, where strength gaps quietly develop, and why certain problems keep returning despite previous care. Scapular control, load tolerance, and cervical mechanics are the details that standard assessments tend to miss, and exactly where Pip starts.
Her work spans acute injuries and post-surgical recovery through to long-term performance management for recreational and competitive athletes. She doesn't oversimplify. Programs are precise because the problems demand it, and progressive because feeling better is never the finish line.
Pip Tockuss
B.ExerPhys, ESSAM, AEP
SENIOR ACCREDITED EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST
Rachael specialises in the lumbar spine, knees, and lower limb conditions. Her clients have often become cautious around movement: people managing workplace injuries, those living with chronic pain, and anyone who has been told to rest and found it only set them back further.
What drives her work is progressive resistance training done properly. She pays close attention to how load is introduced, how the body responds, and where the real barriers to progress sit. Fear of movement is often one of them, and Rachael is methodical about addressing it.
Her work covers acute and chronic lower limb injuries, knee rehabilitation, and back pain across its many presentations. She is particularly drawn to the longer cases: people who have been managing a problem for years, who have plateaued elsewhere, and who need a clear plan rather than another round of the same approach.
SUPPORT TEAM
Behind the Clinic.
Caitlin Teng
OPERATIONS & MARKETING
Exercise has always been a significant part of Caitlin's life, and with that came an understanding of what it truly means to look after yourself. Caitlin is currently completing her Bachelor of Exercise Physiology with Honours at the University of Sydney, where her research explores how heat affects the way we sleep. Since joining Exercise Lab, she has taken on the operations and marketing side of the business with the same quiet dedication, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes so the clinical team can focus on what they do best.
Lilly Zhang
CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Lilly has always cared about getting things right. Growing up competing in netball and badminton gave her an early appreciation for what it means to move well and feel your best, and that passion has stayed with her ever since. She is currently completing a combined Bachelor of Exercise Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at UNSW, and brings that same heart to her role at Exercise Lab. Lilly looks after the front of clinic, bookings, and scheduling, and has a wonderful way of making clients feel welcome and well looked after from the moment they walk in.
